At Call Me Curry & Izakaya, we believe that every meal tells a story, and ours begins with a shared love for authentic Japanese flavors. Founded by Frank and Deena, a husband-and-wife duo with a passion for culinary excellence and hospitality, our restaurant is a celebration of tradition, innovation, and the joy of sharing good food with good company.

With years of experience in hospitality and running successful restaurants, we dreamed of bringing the comforting flavors of Japanese curry rice and the lively atmosphere of izakayas to the heart of Adelaide. Located on Hindley Street, just steps away from Chinatown and Central Market, our mission is to create a space where locals, travelers, and food enthusiasts come together to enjoy the vibrant taste of Japan.

Our menu is crafted with care, featuring signature Japanese curries, crispy tonkatsu, and an array of izakaya-style small plates, skewers, and vegetarian options. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared by Frank, our head chef, blending traditional recipes with a modern twist, while Deena oversees the dining experience to ensure that every guest feels at home.
